How to Play
Drag your chessmen according to their specific movement rules. Soldiers move ahead one square, but take diagonally. Castles slide any number of squares in a straight line. Knights jump in an L-pattern, bypassing other pieces. Bishops move diagonally any number of squares. The Queen combines the moves of a Rook and Bishop. The King moves one square in all directions. Guard your King at all costs to avoid defeat. Capture opponent pieces by landing on their square. Check the opponent's King by attacking it directly. Win by placing the opponent's King in a position with no escape. Play against the computer or a friend in turn-based moves. Plan your moves carefully to defeat your opponent.
